Description
Large-format fold-out 1951 Union 76 road map of Washington and Oregon, printed more than 68 years ago.This map opens to 18" x 25½" and has great detail on old highway alignments and route numbers, with cartography by Jeppeson.
Washington is on one side, with inset plans of Spokane, Tacoma, and Seattle.
Oregon is on the other side, with inset plans of Portand, Salem, and Crater Lake National Park.
The map was published by the Union Oil Company in 1951 and is dated by code number in the lower corner: 51-635. Population data is from the 1950 census.
The cover artwork is by Hal Shelton, and the map is printed in the Foldex format, with tabs along the top edge so you can open it to the section you want to look at.
Condition:
There's a small piece missing from the lower corner, not affecting any of the map information and otherwise all is in very good condition, bright and clean, with
no
