Czech troops deployed in Operation Desert Storm to support the Coalition. Special desert equipment was developed for their needs, including a new camouflage known as Czech "red desert". Matching, extremely high quality lightweight desert combat boots were designed to match the uniform. This pair of Czech 1980s Red Desert Camo Double Buckle Desert Combat Boots are in near mint, never issued or worn condition, and feature a double velcro closure cross leather "X-strap" ankle. They sport green leather lace hole backings and a brown suede leather base. They boast non-skid tread soles and are of unusually light weight for their quality of construction.
